FAQs

If I am coming from out of country (India), how can I obtain what I need to get to the event? What do I need to get into India?

International guests will generally need a valid passport and an appropriate Indian visa/e-Visa, depending on their nationality. We recommend checking the latest requirements through the official Indian visa portal or your nearest Indian Embassy/Consulate.

For U.S. citizens who need to obtain or renew a U.S. passport, the official U.S. Department of State website explains the application process, required documents, current fees, and processing times:

“Official U.S. Passport Application Information” (https://reference-url-citation.invalid/1)

Currently, routine U.S. passport processing is approximately 4–6 weeks, while expedited processing is approximately 2–3 weeks, excluding mailing time. For a first-time adult passport book, the current application fee is $130 plus a $35 acceptance fee; expedited service costs an additional $60. (Accurate fee should be varified using the above link)

Once your participation is confirmed, our team can assist with event-related invitation/support documentation where applicable.

What accommodations do you have for my stay?

The main event will be hosted at Taj Agra, providing guests with a premium hospitality experience in Agra.

For guests selecting the official accommodation package, stay at Taj Agra and meals are included, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, high tea and other applicable meals/hospitality inclusions specified in the package.

Guests may also have the option to choose their own hotel/accommodation if they prefer. The exact package inclusions, number of nights, room category, meals, transportation, and other hospitality benefits will be clearly provided before confirmation.

What are some things outside of the event that I can safely do?

Agra is one of India’s major tourist destinations. Guests can visit the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, Mehtab Bagh, local markets, and experience Indian cuisine and culture.

We can also help coordinate trusted local transportation and sightseeing options for international guests.

What is the refund policy?

MicroDramaFest 2027 event packages are totally non-refundable once purchased/confirmed.

This policy is necessary because event organizers must make advance commitments for Airlines tickets, hotel accommodations, meals, transportation, venue arrangements, hospitality services, talent coordination, and other event-related expenses. Similar to airline and hotel bookings, many of these arrangements require advance payment and may not be refundable to the organizer.

If a guest independently books their own airline tickets or hotel, those bookings will be subject to the airline or hotel’s individual cancellation, refund, and flexibility policies. Guests are therefore strongly encouraged to review those terms carefully before making independent travel arrangements.

How does the Meet & Greet work?

Meet & Greet sessions will be organized according to the talent/package schedule. Depending on the package, guests may receive designated access to meet selected artists/creators, briefly interact with them, take photographs, and receive other included benefits.

Guests will receive their Meet & Greet timing/location instructions from the event team. To ensure everyone gets an opportunity, sessions will be time-managed and guests are expected to follow the event team’s instructions.

How do the Photo Ops work?

Photo opportunities will be organized in designated areas with professional/event photographers where applicable. Depending on your package, you may receive individual or group photo opportunities with selected talent.

You will be given instructions regarding your assigned time slot and queue/line. Professional photography details and whether digital photos are included will depend on the specific package purchased.

What if I have an overlapping schedule for the people I want to meet?

We will make every effort to avoid scheduling conflicts. However, talent schedules can change due to performances, interviews, media commitments, or other event responsibilities. If two preferred sessions overlap, please contact the event coordination team as soon as possible, and we will try to provide the best available alternative.

Who would be a point person to contact while I’m there?

International guests will have access to a designated MicroDramaFest event coordinator/guest-relations representative during the event. They will assist with registration, schedules, transportation coordination, Meet & Greet/Photo Op information, and general event-related support.

You’ll find the Event Coordinator in the Waiting Lounge, MicroDramaFest Registration Area.

Where do I go if I get sick or injured?

Agra has several hospitals and medical facilities, and our event team will be able to assist guests in reaching an appropriate nearby hospital or medical facility if required. For emergencies, guests should immediately contact the event team or local emergency services. We will provide the relevant emergency contact information to registered international guests before the event.

We highly recommend that international guests obtain travel insurance through their local insurance company or healthcare insurance provider before traveling. U.S. guests, for example, may wish to check with their current healthcare insurance provider, such as Blue Cross or another personal healthcare insurance provider, to determine whether their existing policy provides coverage while traveling outside the United States and whether medical treatment in India is covered.

Guests should confirm their international medical coverage, emergency assistance, hospitalization coverage, and any exclusions before traveling to India.
